MIAMI — Police are investigating a deadly shooting that left one dead in northwest Miami on Saturday.

Miami Police responded around 12:10 p.m. to reports of multiple shots fired near Northwest 17th Avenue and Northwest 54th Street.

When they arrived, police found two men in their 20s who had been shot multiple times.

Miami Fire Rescue said one of the men was dead at the scene, while the other was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition.

Police say one person is in custody.

No further information has been released.
