MIAMI — Netflix is back with a story that pulls at the heartstrings in Remarkably Bright Creatures, based on the bestselling novel by Shelby Van Pelt.

The film follows a widow named Tova, played by Oscar winner Sally Field, who works at a local aquarium and finds joy again after forming unlikely bonds with a giant Pacific octopus and an intrepid young man named Cameron, who arrives in town searching for family.

In search of some remarkable creatures of our own in South Florida, we stopped by the Jellyfish Museum in Pompano Beach.

The museum is a place where visitors come to exhale and find peace, while also serving as home to some of the most fascinating and rare species of jellyfish in the world.
