FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — A driver in a white BMW crashed into a Fort Lauderdale hearing aid center Tuesday, damaging the front of the business, authorities said.
The BMW driver struck Ascent Audiology & Hearing, located at 1005 N. Federal Highway, according to Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue officials.
Officials said there was visible damage to the storefront, but the building itself was not structurally compromised.
They said at least one employee inside the business was evaluated at the scene but refused transport to a hospital.
Sky 10 flew over the business around 12:30 p.m., showing damage to the front entrance area following the collision. Fort Lauderdale police officers were seen inspecting the area.
Authorities said no further injuries were reported and the circumstances leading up to the crash were not immediately released.
