MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — Deputies in Miami-Dade County are investigating a shooting.
It happened Wednesday around 3:44 p.m. in the area of Northwest 75th Street and 29th Avenue.
According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the scene after receiving a call that a man had been shot.
First responders arrived to found a man who appeared to have been shot in what deputies described as his lower extremities.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue rushed the man to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital in critical condition, authorities said.
There has been no word from MDSO on whether they are seeking any suspects or persons of interest, or any information regarding the circumstances that led up to the shooting.
