POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit asked for the public’s help on Thursday in locating a 38-year-old woman who they say has been missing from the Pompano Beach area for a week.
According to investigators, Tenezia Sims was last seen around 1 a.m. on May 7, near the intersection of Sample Road and Northwest 27th Avenue.
Authorities said she was last seen wearing a pink tank top, black skirt with a flower design and blue slides. She is about 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs around 110 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.
They said Sims experiences mental illness.
