Investigators said they were alerted to a body floating in the water after receiving a 911 call.

Local 10 cameras captured Miami police and fire boats working in Biscayne Bay just south of Brickell Key on Sunday morning.

It comes one day after Miami Police Department’s Special Victims Unit released a missing person flyer for 23-year-old Akin Liverpool, who they said was last seen on a charter boat in the area on Saturday night before police believe he fell overboard.

Police and the coast guard began working together to find Liverpool by water and air.

Investigators say the body that was pulled from the bay Sunday morning is now part of a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission case.

The person has not officially been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
