OAKLAND PARK, Fla. — Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the parking lot of a Home Depot on Friday in Oakland Park.

Deputies and Oakland Park Fire Rescue personnel responded to the parking lot shortly after 2:45 p.m., at 1701 West Oakland Park Boulevard, according to dispatch records.

DEPUTIES RESPOND: Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the parking lot of a Home Depot on Friday in Oakland Park.

BSO patrol cars blocked a white work van with a rusty roof that was parked in the middle of a road in the parking lot. The driver’s door was open.

An OPFR fire truck was parked outside the Home Depot’s entrance, near rows of grills.
