Fort Lauderdale police officers responded to a one-story apartment building at Miami Road and Southeast 19th Street, in a neighborhood west of Port Everglades.

A man and a woman, allegedly involved in the dispute, refused to come out of an apartment, according to Sgt. Patrick O’Brien, a spokesman for the Fort Lauderdale Police Department.

The two eventually walked out of the apartment, police officers detained them, and were investigating a report that weapons were involved, according to O’Brien.

Detectives asked anyone with information about this or other cases who wants to remain anonymous to call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
