MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — First responders were quick to respond after receiving reports of a driver who crashed her car into a El Palacio de los Jugos location in the West Kendall area.
It happened around 3:45 p.m. at the chain’s location at 15110 SW 56th St.
According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, crews arrived to the scene and discovered the damage to the building, as well as a gas leak.
Officials quickly notified the gas company, authorities said.
One woman was taken to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital as a trauma patient, according to MDFR, while two other women taken to area hospitals.
Authorities said one of the injured women was the driver of the car.
There was no word from authorities on the circumstances that led up to the car crashing into the building.
