NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The city of Nashville is mourning the death of country music icon Dolly Parton.
Her name is etched on the city’s Walk of Fame, which sits right outside the Country Music Hall of Fame.
It wasn’t long ago when the hall opened a new exhibit showcasing her amazing career.
Fans also were seen at Dollywood, showing up and paying tribute in different ways.
Just a few blocks away is the Songteller Hotel, one of Parton’s latest projects that is still under construction.
Outside, there were flowers and a note that said, “I hope life treats you well.”
Parton was a legend on stage, screen and in the community.
She was a girl from east Tennessee who lived a life that has left a lasting impact on the entire world.
