MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — A 36-year-old woman from Miami-Dade County has been arrested for a second time for selling counterfeit luxury bags online, authorities confirmed.
In the latest case, Liudmila Perez-Labrada was arrested Tuesday on a charge of counterfeiting goods worth $20,000 or more.
According to an arrest report from the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, Crime Stoppers received a tip in February that counterfeit items were being stored and sold at a home in the 3100 block of Northwest 81st Terrace.
A detective assigned to the case then reviewed an Instagram page called “Elegance and Glamour,” which Perez-Labrada allegedly used to sell counterfeit items, even though she was already arrested in July 2025 for the same crime, authorities said.
According to the report, a private investigator purchased a counterfeit Louis Vuitton Pochette Eva bag from the Instagram page for $211 using Zelle.
After the bag was delivered, it was sent to the senior manager of “criminal enforcement for Louis Vuitton,” who confirmed that the bag was counterfeit, the report stated.
Detectives said the real version of the bag retails for $1,460.
Over the course of the next couple of months, detectives said the private investigator purchased other counterfeit luxury items from Perez-Labrada, including a fake Gucci bag, Alo top and a Louis Vuitton bathing suit.
According to the warrant, a search warrant was obtained for Perez-Labrada’s home on July 21 and detectives executed the warrant the following day.
Detectives said a “customer” of Perez-Labrada’s was at the home when they arrived and she admitted that she was there to purchase counterfeit items that she had seen on Perez-Labrada’s Instagram page.
According to the report, detectives recovered a large haul of counterfeit items inside the home, bearing the brand names of Celine, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Gucci, Nike, New Balance and others. The items recovered ranged from sunglasses to jewelry, clothing and handbags, authorities said.
Deputies said Perez-Labrada also admitted to having a storage unit and a search of that revealed more counterfeit goods.
According to the report, Perez-Labrada was not arrested on the day the search warrant was executed because she had just undergone major surgery.
Detectives, however, said they informed her they would be back to arrest her at a later date and they made good on that promise on Monday.
According to the report, had the seized merchandise been authentic, the total worth would have been about $1.7 million.
As of Wednesday afternoon, Perez-Labrada was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. Online jail records listed her bond as “to be set.”
