FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — A lively 2-year-old cattle dog mix named Levi is looking for a forever home, bringing plenty of energy and personality to Local 10 Studios on Saturday.
Levi is described as smart, friendly and active — traits typical of cattle dog breeds.
He weighs about 41 pounds, is potty trained, good in the car and gets along well with kids, cats and other dogs. He would do best with an active family, especially one with another dog or a yard where he can run and play.
At the Humane Society of Broward County, Cherie Wachter said exercise is key for a dog like Levi, noting that without it, pets can become bored and develop unwanted behaviors.
She added that Levi would likely thrive with regular activity, whether it’s walks, runs or time at a dog park.
Meanwhile, Wachter also confirmed that a hedgehog named Shadow that was recently featured on Local 10 has been adopted.
