Jolena Esperto joined the Local 10 News team in July of 2025.\n\nJolena is from Long Island, New York, but she has spent a long time in Florida. She graduated from the University of Florida after double majoring in Broadcast Journalism and Criminology. \n\nShe began her journalism career at WINK News in Fort Myers, FL. She spent three years as a multimedia journalist, reporter, and fill-in anchor there before coming to report for Local 10 News. \n\nJolena has a passion for giving people a platform to tell their stories, and she is excited to do this in South Florida. \n\nWhen you don’t see her on TV, she is probably spending time with her pets, visiting family, at the beach or at a great Italian restaurant South Florida has to offer.
