With help from charity, homeless Broward students head home with new shoes
The Rick Case Automotive Group in conjunction with “4EveryKid” program, donated hundreds of pairs of shoes to underserved area students Wednesday, through the Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) Homeless Education Assistance Resource Team (HEART).
Rick Case, South Florida automotive legend, dies at 77
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Rick Case, the CEO and founder of the Rick Case Automotive Group, died Tuesday after a short battle with an aggressive form of cancer. An Akron, Ohio native, Case was known as a catalyst in the automotive industry and had a passion for giving back to the community. This year marked the 59th in business for the Rick Case Automotive Group, which has 16 dealerships in Florida, Georgia and Ohio. “Rick had the most amazing mind for problem-solving,” Rita Case said in a statement. Memorial donations may be made in his honor supporting the Rick Case Educational Scholarship Fund, which benefits the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County.

It's been 57 years since Rick Case started his first dealership, and nearly 40 years since the couple were married. The Rick Case Bikes for Kids program has been going on for 38 years. The Cases have started over 14 different events and have raised over $50 million for charities across South Florida. They've done it with two of the most important people in their lives, their children- Raquel and Ryan.
