Christmas is back on at Tropical Park. According to a brief sent to Local 10 News on Friday, a judge has denied Santa’s Enchanted Forest’s preliminary lawsuit against the new Holiday themed park, Christmas Wonderland.

COVID-19 vaccination site to soon open at Zoo Miami
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Miami-Dade County briefly started allowing people to sign up for new COVID-19 vaccination appointments on Monday, but all 2,000 appointments were snapped up within 10 minutes. On Wednesday, the county announced that they will open Zoo Miami as a vaccination site starting on Friday. There will be just one way in and one way out,” Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava said. There are 250 appointments on Friday, 500 appointments on Saturday and 500 appointments on Sunday, according to the mayor’s spokesperson, Rachel Johnson. Is this the end of Santa’s Enchanted Forest?
After 34 years of entertaining South Florida residents during the holiday season, the end may be near for Santa’s Enchanted Forest. Miami-Dade County is currently looking for proposals to replace the makeshift theme park which resides at Tropical Park for nearly two months at the end of every year. Since 1984, the owners of Santa’s Enchanted Forest have leased the land from the county with the current agreement set to expire on March 14. With rides, food stands and holiday displays featuring more than three million lights, Santa’s Enchanted Forest has become a holiday favorite and traditional visit for many in South Florida. Park management says more than one million people visit Santa’s Enchanted Forest each year.
