MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — One person suffered a spinal cord injury on Thursday night after a crash on the Florida Turnpike in Miami-Dade County.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers temporarily closed the Turnpike’s southbound lanes at Bird Road. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel responded.
