COCONUT CREEK, Fla. — Two drivers were hospitalized Thursday following a car crash involving two vehicles in Coconut Creek, police confirmed.

According to authorities, the crash occurred at the intersection of Lyons Road and Northwest Sixth Manor.

Police said northbound lanes on Lyons Road between Atlantic Boulevard and Coconut Creek Parkway are shut down amid the investigation.

A spokesperson for the police department said both drivers suffered serious injuries.

No other details were immediately released.
