Saturday was an exceptional day across South Florida. Miami reached a high of 85 degrees, that’s normal for this time of the year.

Sunday will feature hotter temperatures. Expect a high of 87 degrees. Nonetheless, with the heating of the day, showers and a few thunderstorms will take over in the afternoon and evening.

Get ready, the heat switch will be turned on as we head into next week. The end of the week will feature some of the hottest temperatures of the year so far. Highs could reach the lower 90s.
