Happy Mother’s Day! Humidity continues to increase making it feel like it’s near 100 degrees today so stay hydrated and in the air conditioning as much as possible. This increasing humidity combined with daytime heating could trigger a late-day storm or two mainly in the western suburbs but they could drift anywhere after that so keep an eye to the sky later today.
A front that’s been lurking to our north will move closer to us tomorrow and then stall nearby by Tuesday and Wednesday so our chances for showers and t’storms will be increasing heading into the new work week. More clouds and better rain chances will knock our high temperatures back into the mid to upper 80s by midweek.
