Dunphy home on 'Modern Family' up for sale

Two-story, four-bedroom home is listed for $2.39 million

LOS ANGELES – The home said to belong to the fictional Dunphy clan in "Modern Family" could soon be yours in reality.

The two-story house in Los Angeles' Cheviot Hills neighborhood is up for sale, with an asking price of $2.35 million. According to Zillow, it last sold for $1.97 million in 2006.

Only the outside of 10336 Dunleer Drive is used for the Emmy Award-winning sitcom. While most of the scenes are filmed at a nearby set, the real home has four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms.

It is listed by the website LA Luxury Real Estate. According to several reports, the new owner could collect a fee from ABC Studios in exchange for exterior filming for the show.

New episodes of "Modern Family" air Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. on Local 10.
