Their statements, which were nearly the same, noted that their "personal lives are now distinct and separate," and they will be "seeing other people."

Perhaps the most recognizable of all the Muppets, Kermit and Miss Piggy have been paramours since the mid-1970s, when they appeared together on "The Muppet Show."

Both will continue to work together, however. They will star in ABC's "The Muppets," which debuts this fall.

Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez announced on Tuesday they are calling it quits after more than two years of marriage. "It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the decision to divorce," the couple said in a joint statement to People magazine. The Oscar-winner and the French actor met in 2010 while filming the movie "Dark Tide" and married in July 2013. They have a 2-year-old son, Maceo. The marriage was Berry's third and Martinez's first.
