ATLANTA – South Florida-based rapper Vanilla Ice should have taken a cue from his movie 'Cool as Ice' and chilled out instead going off on a profane rant after missing a flight to his concert.

Vanilla Ice, whose real name is Robert Van Winkle, was caught on camera throwing a tantrum Monday at the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta.

The New York Post reports Ice was angry after missing his flight to Nebraska where he was scheduled to perform.

The woman who posted the video to YouTube says it was all Ice's fault.

"He walked up to board 10 minutes after the cutoff time for boarding while talking on his phone," the woman said in her post.

According to the witness, Ice yelled at the desk agent and then threw his ticket at her.

When a man waiting in line suggested he look at the departure monitors, Ice responded in a vulgar manner.

"Shut your (expletive) mouth," Ice replied. "Shut your mouth, I don't need anything from you!  You don't work here, shut up!"

No word on if Ice caught another flight and made his scheduled appearance.
