Ultra Music Festival's Day 2: Sam Feldt, Cypress Hill, Tiësto

Despite a little rain, tropical beats keep dancers moving

MIAMI – The second day of The Ultra Music Festival started with the happy beats of Sam Feldt. The king of tropical house took over the main stage at downtown Miami's Bayfront Park with a set that lasted nearly 40 minutes.

Feldt's  long track list not only included his best remixes. He also highlighted remixes by Don Diablo, Madison Mars, EDX Indian Summer and others.

Some 165,000 people were visiting Miami for the three-day electronic music festival. The rain didn't bother the dancers. The festival also had a live stream of some of the festival's highlights on YouTube.

Cypress Hill -- B-Real, Sen Dog, DJ Muggs and Eric Bobo -- took the stage in the afternoon with their "Insane in The Brain" and some bongos to honor the Miami Latinos.  It was the beginning of their tour before joining Snoop Dogg's tour in April.

"Cypress Hill crushed it on the live stage," said Andrea Helfrich, an Ultra Musical Festival host.

Dutch DJ Tiësto, who has a pop up store at 430 Lincoln Road in Miami Beach, followed with bass house and his new "On My Way."

TRAFFIC ALERT: Police officers will be rerouting traffic until 12 p.m. on Monday. Biscayne Boulevard's northbound lanes will be closed from Southeast First Street to Northeast Fourth Street. The northbound traffic will flow on the southbound lanes of Biscayne Boulevard.
