MIAMI – Seraphic Fire, a Miami-based vocal ensemble, will be performing their "American Hymns Rediscovered" starting Wednesday.
They will have five concerts in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. They will start their series with a concert in Miami and end it with a performance in Boca Raton Nov. 12.

Carlos Howard, Seraphic Fire's spokesman, said this season's program focuses on showcasing American rich tradition along with some "innovative works of musical poetry that call for wisdom and peace."
Before the performance, there will be a pre-concert conversation with tenor Brad Diamond, a specialist in oratorio repertoire.
Here is the schedule of concerts:
- 7:30 p.m., Nov. 8, at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox, 2401 SW 3 Ave., in Miami. Tickets are $46.
- 7:30 p.m., Nov. 9 at All Souls Episcopal, 4025 Pine Tree Dr., in Miami Beach. Tickets are $46.
- 7:30 p.m., Nov. 10 at St. Philip's, 1121 Andalusia Ave., in Coral Gables. Tickets are $56.
- 7:30 p.m., Nov. 11 at All Saints Episcopal, 333 Tarpon Dr., in Fort Lauderdale. Tickets are $50.
- 4 p.m., Nov. 12 at St. Gregory's Episcopal, 100 NE Mizner Blvd. Tickets are $46.
