WYNWOOD – South Florida rockers Deaf Poets played their last hometown show for the foreseeable future at Gramps in Wynwood on Thursday, Dec. 7th.
The duo is making the big jump to the Big Apple! Drummer/singer Nico is already living there and singer-guitarist Sean is about to pull up stakes and join him in January. It's a logical and logistical no-brainer: so many more venues and band-friendly bars to play!

The guys were pumped for their farewell performance and plenty of friends from other South Florida bands showed up to see them off. Singer-guitarist Jesse Hughes from Eagles of Death Metal was also DJing after their set!
Deaf Poets fans packed the room; crowding the tiny Shirley's stage to hear the band roar through old favorites and new material. Hate to see them go, but can't wait to watch what happens! Keep your eyes open!
