Now, in honor of its golden anniversary, "Bonnie and Clyde" will return to select theaters this Sunday -- 50 years to the day after it was first released.

The film tells the story of Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, who were fatally gunned down after embarking on a bank robbery and killing spree during the Great Depression.

Co-starring a young Gene Hackman as Bonnie's older brother Buck and Estelle Parsons, who received an Oscar for her performance as Buck's wife, "Bonnie and Clyde" will have two showings Sunday and two showings Aug. 16 at most locations.

Among the theaters showing the movie are the Cinemark in Boca Raton, the Regal Cypress Creek Station Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, the Cinemark in Davie, the Regal South Beach on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach and the AMC at Sunset Place in South Miami.
