Victoria's Secret model falls on runway in front of millions

SHANGHAI, CHINA – Let's hope a certain Victoria's Secret model takes a page from Dwyane Wade's playbook and falls down seven times and gets up eight.

Chinese model Ming Xi was the highlight, or lowlight, of Tuesday's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show when she tripped and fell on the runway in front of millions of viewers.

Xi's feet got caught up in the white cape she was wearing and took a spill at the front of the runway. What's worse, it happened in Shanghai, Xi's hometown.

Voices of panic could be heard on the fashion show telecast, but showing extreme poise and humility, Xi, 28, got up and kept going because the show must go on.

Many are now angry at CBS for airing the fall in the telecast, despite the fashion show occurring over a week ago.

Xi received support worldwide from her fans and fellow models, many of whom shared similar experiences.

It was no doubt one of the hardest moments I have ever had to go through in my career," Xi wrote on her Instagram page. "However, the support I received from everyone yesterday was incredible and I am truly grateful to everyone who was there for me."
