Candied Rice Krispies

2 tablespoons sugar
2 cups Rice Krispies cereal

Heat the sugar in a sauté pan over medium low heat until the sugar begins to dissolve and caramelize. Swirl sugar to mix, so it caramelizes evenly. Once the sugar is a uniform amber color, shut off heat, add cereal and stir to coat. Turn out onto a Silpat, allow to cool and chop roughly.
