MIAMI – Lady Gaga was mourning the death of her friend Sonja Durham on Friday night.
The pop singer 's fans remembered Sonja from her dedication at Coachella. Her fans remembered the performance of "Edge of Glory" in honor of Durham, who died of breast cancer after it spread to her lungs and her brain.

"Watching one of my best friends in the world show unfathomable courage, strength, and positivity while battling cancer has really changed my life," Lady Gaga wrote on Instagram.
Her "Grigio Girls" track lyrics mention her friends cried for Sonja.
"I wrote a song about her on the album, it’s about how me and all of our girlfriends would get together and cry without her when she’s not around, because we love her so much," the artist said during a Radio.com interview. "We just want to be strong with her."
