PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – A college student from South Florida is bringing smiles to children battling chronic diseases and conditions like hers.

Tati Capote has suffered from rheumatoid arthritis since she was 2 years old.

It recently it took a toll on her and she had to take some time off from school.

Capote used the time to make care packages for anyone going through a similar situation and in need of some cheering up.

She made a Facebook page called Just Because Boxes and works with several groups to find children to receive the boxes, which are filled with toys, candy, lotion, coloring books and crayons.

She plans to send out her 100th box by the end of this month.
