Miami Broward Jr. Carnival set for Oct. 1

Family-friendly Caribbean event includes colorful parade

LAUDERHILL, Fla. – This year's Miami Broward Jr. Carnival and parade kicks off Oct. 1 in Lauderhill. 

The event meant to celebrate Caribbean culture begins at Noon and ends at 9 p.m. at the Central Broward Regional Park, 3700 NW 11 Place. 

Admission tickets are $10 and children ages 10 and under will be admitted free. Parking is $1.50 per adult.
