AVENTURA, Fla. – Police said a man seen on surveillance video at the Aventura Mall resembles a sketch of the man believed to be responsible for the killings of a mother and her 7-year-old daughter outside a Boca Raton mall last year.
The surveillance video was taken last week, five months after Nancy Bochicchio and her daughter, Joey Bochicchio-Hauser, were killed after leaving the Boca Town Center. It shows the man following a woman and her child into the Aventura Mall.

An anonymous caller identified the man as matching the sketch Boca Raton police released shortly after the killings.
"The woman and child seemed to be followed by a suspicious male with a floppy hat and a pony tail that matches the description of the sketch that we put up," Boca Raton police spokeswoman Sandra Boonenberg said.
Bochicchio, 47, and her daughter were discovered dead by mall security in a black 2007 Chrysler Aspen with the motor still running around midnight Dec. 12. The sport utility vehicle was parked in a merchandise pickup area near the south side of the Sears department store.
Police said they had been bound and shot. An undisclosed amount of money was also taken.
Although a $350,000 reward is being offered, no arrests have been made.
Some shoppers at the Aventura Mall said they were concerned to know there might be someone targeting women and children there.
"It would concern me that I would feel that I were safe coming to a mall of this caliber and it would still affect me," Amy Kraft said.
The Aventura Mall has nine Aventura police officers on duty each day, in addition to several off-duty officers. The mall also has its own security staff and 200 security cameras.
Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the man on the surveillance video. Police said they also want to speak with the person who provided the tip.
