Over the last nine years, Kellie has reported on everything from hurricanes, to political debates, to the economic crisis. And that's just scratching the surface.

For Kellie, it is a privilege to report on the people who make South Florida a wonderful place to live.

Before arriving at Local10, Kellie lived a nomadic news life, crisscrossing the state of Florida, reporting for stations in Orlando, Fort Myers and Sarasota.

Television news reporting can often mean a lot of travel. One trip landed Kellie in Cuba. Her three-part series detailing the struggles of families separated by the Florida Straits won an Associated Press Award.

Kellie is a ?Cane," holding an undergraduate degree in Business Management and a Master?s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Miami.

When not reporting for Local 10, she teaches two communication classes at Barry University in Miami Shores where she really enjoys teaching students some tricks of the trade.

If Kellie sometimes looks tired, it's because she probably is. She reports for the morning newscasts Saturday though Tuesday. Her typical workday begins at 3:30 a.m.

As fulfilling as her professional life is, Kellie?s true passion is spending time with the talented and amazing men in her life -- her husband and two sons.
