Actor Eric Dane has entered a rehab clinic to treat an addiction to painkillers.
"Dane voluntarily checked himself into a treatment facility to help him get off pain medication that he was prescribed for a sports injury that he suffered over the recent hiatus," said a statement released by Dane's representative. "He reports back to work next week. Business as usual."

Dane, 38, who is nicknamed "McSteamy" on the hit ABC show "Grey's Anatomy," is married to actress Rebecca Gayheart. The couple is expecting their second child.
