CUTLER BAY, Fla. – A new state-of-the-art performing arts center is opening in southern Miami-Dade County this October.
The $51 million South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center at 10950 SW 211th St. in Cutler Bay will open with two days of performances open to the public.

County representatives said the Grand Opening Celebration features a multidisciplinary show featuring international and local artists.
Shows are set for 8 p.m. Oct. 1 and 3 p.m. Oct. 2. Tickets are $20, $35 and $50 on Oct. and $10, $25 and $40 on Oct. 2. There will be free outdoor activities before the shows on both days.
Oct. 2 will be family day, with $5 Culture Shock tickets for people ages 12 to 22 and 50 percent off for kids ages 6 to 12. Seniors at all ticket levels will receive $5 off.
