Marc Anthony broke his silence and spoke for the first time about his pending divorce to Jennier Lopez in an ABC exclusive interview on "Nightline" Thursday.
The couple announced their split six weeks ago after seven years of marriage. Since then, there has been speculation that the salsa singer cheated on Lopez, a rumor he strongly denies.

"It was a flight attendant, it was the pilot -- I heard it was this guy sitting next to me in a rehab in Houston. I've heard it all," Anthony told reporter John Quinones. "People are trying to peg it on things because it was so shocking. It was like, it must have been something? It wasn't something sensationalistic," Anthony said.
The marriage, he explains, just stopped working.
"It was a realization on both our parts? It wasn't shocking. These things happen," he said.
In an interview for September's Vanity Fair, Lopez gave more personal interpretation of what went wrong in the marriage.
"Sometimes we don't realize that we are compromising ourselves," Lopez said. "To understand that a person is not good for you, or that that person is not treating you in the right way, or that he is not doing the right thing for himself ? if I stay, then I am not doing the right thing for me."
Despite the split, Anthony told ABC he and Lopez are still really good friends. And they have to be. They plan to move forward with their reality show "Q'Viva! The Chosen," a show in search of the next Latin star. The pair also have a new fashion line with Kohl's that they will be promoting this fall and most importantly, they share 3-year-old twins, Max and Emme.
"It's not the end of that. It's not. This is not a funeral. ... This is just two people who came together and just realized ? that it wasn't sustainable the way it was, and that's that," he said. "We're going to be in each other's lives for many, many, many years, and I'm glad that our friendship is that strong. ? What would make it difficult is if we didn't get along."
Anthony affirmed there is still love between the two of them, as well.
"I'll always love Jennifer. Yes. I'll always love Jennifer. She knows that ... Jennifer's a wonderful, wonderful woman, a wonderful mother, a wonderful friend, you know. We understand this to be a long story. This is not a short story. "
