DWTS Season 13: The Fourth Elimination

Movie Theme Week Is "The End" For One Couple

MIAMI – Movie theme week comes to an end, but not without a few performances and a few time fillers. Right out the gate, Raphael Saadiq performed Soul Man.

The first time filler: the audience reaction to the performances. Hmm. Most of the people reacting were stars - including Pee Wee Herman. Hello, ABC? How about you let Pee Wee compete in the show next season?

Susan Boyle performed Unchained Melody. I think Brooke Burke Charvet called it Enchanted Melody, but I could be wrong.

Now, to the real business of the night. Here's the leaderboard:

  • Ricki & Derek - 29 points
  • JR & Karina - 26 points
  • Rob & Cheryl - 24 points
  • Hope & Maks - 24 points
  • David & Kym - 23 points
  • Chynna & Tony - 21 points
  • Nancy & Tristan - 21 points
  • Chaz & Lacey - 21 points
  • Carson & Anna - 20 points
  • Rob & Cheryl, JR & Karina and Ricki & Derek are the first to take the stage. Ricki & Derek and JR & Karina are safe. Rob & Cheryl are in jeopardy. So far, I'm not yelling at my TV about your voting, America.

Stars of the new Footloose, Julianne Hough and Kenny Wormald, danced to the new versions of Holding Out For A Hero and Footloose. --Side note: I am completely opposed this whole reboot - from the movie to the soundtrack. Without Kevin Bacon or Kenny Loggins, I can't do it. Feels wrong. Also, I am clearly old. I kind of liked when Julianne threw to commercial. I think she could totally host this show if that whole dancing/acting thing doesn't work.

Chynna & Tony, Carson & Anna and Chaz & Lacey take the stage. Chaz & Lacey and Carson & Anna are safe. Chynna & Tony are in jeopardy. REALLY?

Oh, good. It's time to fill out the show with a taped piece. This week, the stars are talking about how much time they're giving up to train for the show. Spoiler alert: they're not mentioning they're being paid to do this.

Derek & Julianne performed together for the first time since season eight. It's like they never stopped dancing! Seriously, click the link at the bottom of the story and watch that performance! If Ricki & Derek make it to the finals, I want her freestyle to be like that. Or else.

The final three couples take the stage to learn their fates. Hope & Maks and David & Kym are safe. Nancy & Tristan are in jeopardy.

Down to the final business. Nancy & Tristan are safe. Rob & Cheryl are safe. Chynna & Tony are going home. WHAT?!? So, lemme get this straight, America: Chynna slips one week and you're keeping an injured Chaz and an entertaining-but-barely-a-dancer Carson? Oh, you disappoint me.

Next week, the remaining eight couples take on another theme (fingers crossed it's "Len's Cranky Pants" week - where the couples just dance like cranky old Brits).
