When one of the alleged victims of the two Fort Lauderdale detectives charged with a slew of badge-related felonies tried to distinguish between them, he called one cop the "big one" and the other the "little one."
It's a safe bet that the big one was Billy Koepke, an amateur bodybuilder whose flexing photos can be found on the Internet.

That's Koepke in the above photo from rxmuscle.com. As a light heavyweight, he apparently finished first in a 2009 southeastern U.S. competition and fifth in a 2010 event. While this will surely lead to speculation, there's no indication in any reports of any steroid abuse by the now-former cop who faces charges of kidnapping, false imprisonment, grand theft, extortion, and other crimes.
An interesting side note: When Koepke and his partner Brian Dodge were walking out of the jail together on Friday, Koepke led the way. It was almost comical as the slightly stumbling Dodge followed behind him, carefully staying a couple of paces behind, as if an invisible tether tied him to Keopke. I don't know what that means, but it was interesting to see.
Also on this case, two victims who claimed they were falsely held and robbed by the two detectives went to the FBI with a complaint months before the State Attorney's Office investigation began. According to court documents, the FBI told the victims to take their concerns to the internal affairs at the Fort Lauderdale Police Department.
That's sort of like telling a hen to take her concerns about house security to the foxes.
