January one of warmest months

Temperatures were 4 to 6 degrees above normal

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. ā€“ A chill may be sweeping through South Florida now, but the National Weather Service says January was one of the warmest on record!

According to the Sun-Sentinel, the National Weather Service reports January was four to six degrees above normal.

Miami's average temperature was 73.2 degrees, which is five degrees above normal.

Meanwhile, just north in Fort Lauderdale, the average temperature was 73 degrees, which is 4 degrees above normal.

So far, the same warm temperatures are predicted for February.
