Trial date set for 'butt injections' suspect

O'Neal Morris charged with manslaughter

MIAMI – The man accused of injecting illegal substances into women's buttocks and sealing them with cotton balls and super glue was back in court Friday.

Friday's hearing was to set a trial date for O'Neal Morris, who was charged with manslaughter after one of his alleged victims died.

The trial will begin on June 24th.

Local 10 caught up with his alleged accomplice, Corey Eubanks, as he walked out of the courthouse Friday.

"Not guilty, and get the hell out (unintelligible)," he said to Local 10's Sasha Andrade as he walked away from the camera and onto an escalator.

"My client never handled any syringes, never was involved in the procedure," said Morris' attorney, Jim Lewis. "It's unfair and unjust that he's being charged in this. He's going to have his day in court and he's not pleading guilty to anything."
