TSA: 2 guns seized at FLL in last week

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Two guns were seized at Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood Int'l Airport in the last week, according to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

On May 24, TSA screeners found the loaded .22 revolver, which is seen in the above picture. The next day, they seized an unloaded 9mm automatic handgun.

No guns were found at Miami International Airport in the last week.

In all, TSA screeners stopped 29 guns from making it onto flights across the country in the last week. Twenty six of those guns were loaded.
