BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – A cement truck was traveling eastbound on the I-595 ramp to southbound Turnpike Wednesday at 9:40 a.m., when the left front tire blew out, causing the driver to lose control.
The truck hit the concrete barrier wall and landed on its left side with its wheels leaning against the concrete barrier wall, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The eastbound and westbound ramps from I-595 to southbound Turnpike closed.
All lanes were opened at 2:30 p.m.
