TAMARAC, Fla. – The Broward Sheriff's Office ticketed an elderly man who drove his car into a Family Dollar store.

The crash happened at 3150 W. Commercial Boulevard about 11 a.m. Monday.
The driver mistook the gas pedal for the brake, deputies said. No injuries were reported.
The driver was cited for careless driving and failure to maintain control of vehicle.
