2 vehicles collide with trolley in Fort Lauderdale

Officials say 5 injured with non life-threatening injuries


FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Five people were injured after officials said two vehicles collided with the trolley they were riding in Fort Lauderdale.

Fort Lauderdale Rescue responded to the accident around 6:40 p.m. Wednesday.

Officials said the trolley veered off the road after the accident, running into the side of a hotel at 545 Seabreeze Boulevard.

Five individuals riding the trolley were reported to be injured, but their injuries were reported as non life-threatening.

No one at the hotel was injured.
