Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers ups reward to $3K for information in double murder

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers on Thursday raised its reward to $3,000 for information in the double murder of a 69-year-old woman and her 20-year-old grandson.

Police found the bodies of Annette Anderson and Tyrone Walker, Jr. inside a home at Northwest 207th Street and 34th Court on Tuesday morning.

Police found them gagged, bound, and shot several times.

Carolyn Walker, Anderson's daughter and Walker's mother, described both as loving.

Family members said Walker recently moved to South Florida, where he was studying to become an engineer, and Anderson, a retired minister, held Bible studies at her home on Tuesdays.
