Police arrest 17-year-old in July 2 armed robbery

HIALEAH, Fla. – Police arrested a 17-year-old man on Friday for an armed robbery that happened on July 2 in Hialeah. They are still looking for three other suspects.

According to police, at 395 East 10 Avenue, three suspects exited a Ford Escape and robbed a man of his gold chain. At least one of the attackers was armed and pistol whipped the victim during the robbery. 

After taking the chain, they left in a black Ford Escape driven by a fourth suspect.

Allan Taroy Hamilton, 17, was arrested on Friday and charged with one count of armed robbery. He is suspected of other robberies in Miami-Dade County.
