Police say suspects crashed car in Pembroke Pines after robbery

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – Three suspects were arrested Saturday after police say they robbed a jewelry store in Hollywood, took off and ended up in an accident in Pembroke Pines.

The robbery happened at Renee's Golden Touch, a jewelry store located at 6501 Taft Street.

Hollywood police said two men entered the store with a gun, stole some jewelry and then took off with a third person waiting at the wheel of a car.

A viewer told Local 10 that a relative saw the men leave the store and jump into the car. That person ended up following the suspects.

Police said the three suspects then got into an accident at 9421 Johnson Street in Pembroke Pines.

Nobody was hurt in the crash and police said the jewelry was recovered.

All of the suspects have since been arrested.
