Police search for armed teen at Opa-locka school


OPA-LOCKA, Fla. – Police responded to reports of a shooting near Fisherman Street and Ali Baba Avenue Wednesday morning, Miami-Dade Det. Robin Pinkard said.

Heavily armed officers at Opa-locka Elementary School were looking for a teenager armed with a handgun.

He was reportedly wearing a red T-shirt and black shorts and is carrying a book bag.

The man who was shot was listed in stable condition at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
