DANIA BEACH, Fla. – A man who believed he was on a date with a woman got some unexpected company at his home and was left beaten and robbed, police said.
According to investigators, Eilan Taregan, 55, invited a woman in her mid-20s back to his house for drinks after meeting at a bar on July 21.
The woman, unknown to Taregan, had two men accompanying her in her vehicle as she followed Taregan to his home at 4147 Stirling Road.
After having an alcoholic drink, the woman stepped out to have a cigarette, leaving the front door unlocked, allowing her two male friends to enter the home.
Those men beat Taregan, tied his hands and feet and stole his money, several watches, phone, jewelry and wallet.
Police are now looking for the three suspects.
