Fort Lauderdale Strikers to host town hall meeting


FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Fort Lauderdale Strikers will hold a town hall meeting Sept. 19 to discuss the future of the club.

The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. at Fritz & Franz Bierhaus, 2861 E Commercial Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale.

NASL Commissioner Bill Peterson, Traffic Sports USA President Aaron Davidson, Fort Lauderdale Mayor Jack Seiler and Sunrise Mayor Mike Ryan are expected to attend, along with Strikers alumni such as Ron Newman, Ray Hudson, and Arnie Mauser. Current Strikers President Tom Mulroy, Managing Director Tim Robbie, and coach Günter Kronsteiner are also expected.
